I LOVE IT

Oh what a HOOT!!

Buh -bye ACORN!

H/T William Amos on hot air

Vitter’s amendment would prevent ACORN from being allowed to participate in any program involving the use of government-sponsored volunteers.
Thank goodness there are still some adults in Congress. I doubt it will pass but it is nice to see someone taking the correct action.

thaumaturgy \THAW-muh-tuhr-jee\, noun:
The performance of miracles or magic.

And my nonsense sentences:

"No, Doctor, say it isn't so! My hand feels fine! Do I really need to have a thaumaturgy on my thumb on Thursday?"

"If your trauma is really a drama, then I suggest that the thespian metallurgy will become a thaumaturgy."

"Nurse, I said a thaumaTURGY not a thaumaECTOMY. WHY did you shave his genitals?"

Add your own fun!

House Passes Hitler Youth Bill

House Passes Hitler Youth Bill

Obama promised during the campaign to create a Socialist National Civilian Security Force similar to what they have in other Marxist regimes. Yesterday, the US House took the first step in organizing Dear Leader's dream youth service corp.

German youth praising Hitler.

The House passed the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act yesterday. The bill includes language indicating young people will be forced to participate in mandatory national service programs. The bill also states that "service learning" will be a mandatory part of the youth curriculum.
That doesn't sound much like "volunteerism" does it?

No. It does not. Not that I am surprised. And it passed the house 74-14. We need to throw them all out in 2010.
