I can't wrap my head around this

To make this year's list of the top 400 fortunes in the US a minimum net worth of $900m was required - up from $750m last year.

What on earth do you need this much money for? How do you spend it? Would you even want it? How many homes do you need? How much stuff is enough? I have so much junk in my home I need to get rid of a ton. I know I am not alone on this. So far 535,266 pounds of clutter since September 16, 2005 have been flung (scroll down a little for the details).

Do these people ever have a garage sale, and if so where would it be and can I go?
