Governor Deval Patrick, who was running for governor and promised to appease the homosexual lobby if elected, has made his first move. He recently “ordered state officials to record the marriages of 26 out-of-state gay couples,” which then-Governor Romney refused to recognize.

San Francisco and the same-sex couples are appealing a ruling in which a Court of Appeal panel by a 2-1 vote in October upheld several state laws requiring marriage to be between a man and a woman.
